This vine pattern reminds me of a tablecloth I found in the Paris Flea Market – the design element has been seen in architecture and textiles since medieval times, especially in Italy and France. The all-over pattern is just perfect for the home – slipcovers, bedding, window treatments, and of course table covers. Thinking of a dear friend who’s shared so many travel adventures with me, I had to give it her name.
The Indigo Blue color is a fresh reminder of Provence.
The dense cotton and diamond weave of this pattern reminds me of fine mattelasse’ coverlets in French homes. Made to last, this gorgeous pattern would make an elegant sofa or chair slipcover, that can also be tossed in the laundry. Just like heirloom bedding, this crisp white cotton will soften the more it’s laundered. The tight weave is designed to withstand frequent washing, so we’ll be using it for bedspreads too.
Fiji Woven Palms:
A medium-weight woven jacquard pattern, Fiji is a true multi-purpose fabric. The tumbling palm fronds can be used either up-the-roll or railroaded, making it suitable for just about any project. Try washable white, natural and linen for elegant resort style:
Deep turquoise and Indigo evoke the colors of the sea. Classic black recalls mid-century chic. Not just for coastal beach interiors! Mix it with barkcloth prints and chinoiserie – Fiji adds flair just about anywhere. Use it for a washable summer bedspread, or slipcovers for your tropical paradise.
A classic woven trellis pattern, the complex weave of Charleston can stand on its own or compliment one of our large scale designs. Available in Linen/White, Linen, White, Cobalt/White, Poppy/White, and the richer colorways Poppy/Linen and Turquoise/Linen which are designed to work in many situations. A medium-scale fabric that can be dressed up or down, Charleston is made of cool and comfortable cotton. Put it on a sofa and add a collection of richly patterned pillows for English Cottage style. Cover a set of sunroom cushions for that traditional conservatory look.
When I saw this floral print I knew it was just right for our Washable Sofa collection. Soft and faded printed roses scatter all over, so it’s a great slipcover fabric.
Mixed with our Charleston Trellis and Diane patterns, it makes a cozy, shabby chic retreat. I’d use it on a big, soft slipcovered sofa with a snappy vintage club chair in the Charleston Trellis, and a creative mix of pillows.
Deck Chair Stripe:
The narrow, multi-colored stripes in this woven canvas fabric bring to mind sunny places – poolside in the South of France, an enchanted cove on the Italian Riviera, and row upon row of sling chairs ready for vacationers here in South Carolina. We love it for upholstery and slipcovers – it’s easy to match, durable, and pet-friendly! The busy stripe pattern is cheerful and forgiving for any family room. Washable, 100% cotton fabric is woven in North Carolina.
Ireland has a family friendly tweed texture, but is made from washed cotton with a touch of acrylic for strength. Soft enough to have a nice drape, we use it for bedding, drapery panels, slipcovers and upholstery. Ireland is a versatile textured fabric in a great range of colors. There’s one for every project, from Beach Bungalow whites to Cottage pink, English Country brown, and everything between. Perfect for our Washable Sofas or a custom slipcover.
Designfolly Collection is designed and curated by Kerry Ann Dame. The line is made in North and South Carolina, and includes recycled cotton fibers. Designed specifically for lived-in interiors, the patterns will blend easily in to your home. All of the patterns are washable and many were created especially for Slipcoverfabrics.com.
