CUSTOM SOFAS AND CHAIRS

When we couldn’t find a furniture line that suited our lifestyle, we decided to make our own. Our frames, made especially for us in Hickory, North Carolina, are FSC certified sustainably-harvested hardwood, with dowels and corner blocks. Lots of plush layers of foam and polyfill follow, with a muslin cover. Our seat cushions feature a soft foam core with a down and feather envelope, allowing for that relaxed, sink-in feeling. The foam core ensures the feathers won’t clump or shift to leave dents in the seat cushions. The back cushions, all feather/down blend, have baffles to keep the filling spread out in the cushion.

Now comes the fun part — have any fabric you like! We can create your dream sofa, whether it be a sexy red damask, a crisp blue and white toile, a preppy ticking stripe, a cottage rose chintz, or our chic-but-practical oatmeal linen. We have our favorite fabrics, of course, and we recommend slipcovers in cotton or linen for washability. But you can upholster our frames as well, and synthetic cushions are also available. So if you’re tired of tan chenille, if you’ve always wanted pure white linen or hot pink leopard on your sofa, we’re ready to help.

We’re not afraid to say we think our sofas are the best — the most choice, the most comfort, and the relaxation of knowing that no matter what life throws at it, you can throw it in the washing machine. Now that’s saying something!
