In this project, a condo in Surfside Beach was completely remodeled - we selected handmade tile, durable Pergo floors and new finishes in the kitchen. Walls were moved and a door relocated to add space to the Master Bath. New furnishings and window treatments make the oceanfront space comfortable and bright.
"British colonial style" has become popular in recent years. Mahogany "campaign" furniture, bamboo and rattan, wicker and leather, and design elements such as monkeys, palm trees, and ticking stripes have invaded our homes. But what does "British colonial style" really mean? Where and when did it orginate?
