The TV appears only when needed, otherwise there’s an ocean view from the bed. Sheer linen draperies filter the sun, and linen blackout draperies have a deep coral border, The ivory carpet has a palm leaf pattern. Custom curtains in a blue and green ticking stripe and a Froggy pillow keep it beachy. The cabinets have a soft glaze finish. We added a linen cafe curtain at the sink. A custom blanket chest at the foot of the bed holds the TV Tall wainscoting was added to this high-ceilinged bedroom. The custom dining table is made from reclaimed wood, and the side chairs as well. Slipcovered end chairs are washable. Surfer chic in a guest room The wall mounted Sunbrella headboard allows for two twin or one king size bed. Board and batten walls give the new construction an old-fashioned feel.
